Thank you Tendulkar!

With all the batting praise heaped upon Tendulkar, people seem to have forgotten his bowling skills. With lethal legbreaks he was arguably the best legspinner on his day

His 5/36 vs Aus at Kochi in 1998 was an awesome display of leg spin bowling with the ball spitting fire bamboozling even the likes of Bevan.

Ofcourse, his spell against the South Africans in the Hero Cup game in 1993 displayed his temperament and tenacious mental make up bamboozling the likes of Macmillan.

Ofcourse that was the nineties. As various injuries set in, he all but gave up his bowling.

That era belonged to the likes of Warne, Kumble, Mushtaq Ahmed (and briefly Paul Strang of Zim). Sachin held his own in the legspinning department too also apart from his prolific batting.
